At Compressr, we respect your privacy and provide you with the option to delete your account permanently. 

Please note that account deletion is irreversible and will result in the complete removal of your data from our servers. 

Before proceeding with account deletion, carefully review the following information:

1. Account Deletion Request:
   • To initiate the account deletion process, go to your account settings and select the "Delete Account" option.
   • You will be prompted to confirm your decision to delete your account permanently.
2. Subscription Cancellation:
   • Upon confirming your account deletion request, your active subscription will be automatically canceled.
   • If you have any remaining time or credits in your subscription, they will be forfeited and cannot be refunded.
3. Data Wiping:
   • Once your account is deleted, all data associated with your account will be permanently wiped from our servers.
   • This includes, but is not limited to:
     • Short links created using Compressr
     • Traffic data and click analytics related to your links
     • Custom pixels and tracking codes associated with your account
     • Overlay configurations and campaign settings
     • Account profile information and preferences
   • Please ensure that you have exported any necessary data before proceeding with account deletion.
4. Data Retention:
   • In accordance with our data retention policy, we will retain minimal data related to your account for legal and accounting purposes only.
   • This retained data will not include any personally identifiable information or specific details about your links and campaigns.
5. Backups and Third-Party Services:
   • While we strive to delete all data associated with your account, please note that some data may persist in our encrypted backups for a limited period.
   • If you have integrated Compressr with third-party services or platforms, you may need to separately request data deletion from those services.
6. Account Restoration:
   • Once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored.
   • If you wish to use Compressr again in the future, you will need to create a new account and start afresh.
